ASUU to leave on another strike if FG neglects to respect arrangement by Aug 31st

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has uncovered that the association is preparing for another strike activity because of the disappointment of the Federal Government to execute an arrangement endorsed with the association. The association has given the FG until Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 to contact them or they will have no other alternative than to initiate the method of leaving protesting.

As per the President of the association, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, uncovered this in a meeting, the FG presently has not picked its calls.

He said, "The public authority has would not contact us. Government authorities have halted. Indeed, they don't accept our calls once more. Nigerians should advise the public authority to do what they consented to do.

"We consented to an arrangement and surprisingly in May, we agreed; this is August and nothing has been carried out. Does it bode well? We are giving them till the finish of August and from that point onward, we start the strategies."
