Herders: MURIC bids to FG to remunerate ranchers for loss of harvests

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has engaged the Federal Government to remunerate ranchers, whose harvests were annihilated by Fulani's groups.

Prof. Ishaq Akintola, the MURIC Director, made the allure in an explanation gave in Lagos, on Friday.

He proposed that the remuneration, which may be in portion, ought to be paid to those whose homesteads were obliterated all through the league.

"MURIC is currently possessing proof of obliteration of harvests on farmlands by cows brought by herders.

Akintola charged both administrative and state governments to assume liability, saying plainly FG was at this point to repay what ranchers were experiencing in the possession of raiding herders.
