
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) with help from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has initiated a shortcode – "6232" for confirmed data.
The number is being presented as a methods for
people in general to contact NCDC's Connect Center and access confirmed data on
COVID-19 and other irresistible sicknesses.
Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, the Director-General of NCDC,
told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja, that the shortcode
was a complementary and simple to-recall number.

NCDC through "6232" are gratis.
"This is to guarantee that Nigerians approach
confirmed data on irresistible sicknesses.
"In 2016, NCDC set up its Connect Center as a
