Following his restoration as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe has continued office today. He acknowledged President Muhammadu Buhari for demanding fair treatment in the organization of the institution
While tending to laborers from the lobby of the senate working of the school, Prof. Ogundipe ascribed his return as VC of the foundation as perfect mediation. He added that he saw his three months recuse from office as a sort of holiday.
He further debunked the rumour that he had compiled a list of workers to punish or sack for not supporting him during his travails.
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor also had nice words for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, all the staff unions in the school, among others.
