According to the students, the proposed N30,000 stipends should rather be converted to their fees and deducted from their tuition, adding that it would be more impactful to them.

Recall that, the Okezie Ikpeazu led administration had announced the payment of the sum of N30,000 bursary, to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 to indigene students of ABSU.

Expressing their concern over the prolonged ASUU strike, the students called on the federal government to respond positively to the demands of ASUU as the future of Nigerian students is at stake.
