A recap of all the latest Man Utd news and transfer rumours as Ole
Gunnar Solskjaer's side prepare to face Liverpool in the Premier League.
It's officially the second week of the international break which means Manchester United are finally back in action this weekend and it's just a small matter of the visit of Liverpool.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be working on a plan this week to beat Jurgen Klopp's league leaders at Old Trafford on Sunday and he'll be hoping to have midfielder Paul Pogba back available.
Reports
last week suggested the France international had broken a bone in his
foot but he's been posting videos from his warm weather training in
Dubai which could hint towards a return to full fitness soon.
In
transfer news United continue to be linked with Mario Mandzukic, who was
a target in the summer, and Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic who is
said to be unhappy at the Nou Camp having slipped down the pecking
order.
United 'confident' of signing Mandzukic
United are reportedly confident that Juventus will accept a £9m offer for Mario Mandzukic in January.
Mandzukic is expected to sign an 18-month contract at Old Trafford worth £4.4m-per-year.
The
33-year-old is out of favour at Juve, increasing United’s chances of
completing a relatively hassle-free deal, the report adds.
